Pre-Existing Conditions Exclusions: The shorter the period the better. UNDERSTAND THIS EXCLUSION. Any medical condition or medication change which occurred during this time period is not covered unless special coverage is arranged.

Medical Qualification Questionnaire: Preferable the company does not have a lengthy medical questionnaire but if they do, complete the application in detail. Failure to accurately complete the application can cause coverage to be voided. |

Pricing: Cost is important but be very careful - broad coverage is much more important. A saving of $150 is great until you run into a $100,000 claim which would only have been covered on the other plans. |

Consult a Specialty Travel Broker: Even the Canadian Snowbird Association offers one company. A broker may have numerous high quality companies and an unbiased opinion on who they suggest. |
